A year ago or so I have discussed a business opportunity of an onboard dating/matching service for passengers. For my client back then, this was one step too far into the world of ancillary fantasies. Air New Zealand, however, saw a business case for lonelyhearts flight from Los Angeles and announced a singles-only flight combined with various networking activities. Is it just the economic downturn, or is it also springtime in that part of the world?
