Vidamore supports a Philips Electronics spin-out, Priv-ID, developing clients in the aviation industry: airlines and airports. Priv-ID has developed and patented technology to encrypt biometric characteristics using one-way hashing. This way biometrics can be stored in non-secure media, like barcodes.  

The technology is perfectly suitable for temporary biometrics, to be used for e.g. matching passengers dropping off baggage with the ones boarding the aircraft.
