Innovative travel portal

This business initiative is initiated by Vidamore together with a company specializing in fuzzy logic. Todays' travel portals mimic old paradigm searching for travel options, while everything is available to facilitate experienced and inexperienced travellers with finding out their options, other than price.

Using fuzzy logic and mesh up technology, the travel portal provides the following functionality:

  • find routes and airlines from and to multiple airports around origin and destination: the traveller will submit the from address (street level) and destination address (street level, not airport)
  • find the best flights around the time needed at the destination
  • find "connecting" flights (international, low-cost, regional airlines without partnerships or codeshares)
  • sort travel options according to personal preferences (like preferred airlines, alliances, airports, legroom, aircraft types used, transfer locations, stop over locations, not preferred airports)
  • retrieve pricing and availability for the best travel options
  • and more!

Encrypted biometrics

Vidamore supports a Philips Electronics spin-out, Priv-ID, developing clients in the aviation industry: airlines and airports. Priv-ID has developed and patented technology to encrypt biometric characteristics using one-way hashing. This way biometrics can be stored in non-secure media, like barcodes.  

The technology is perfectly suitable for temporary biometrics, to be used for e.g. matching passengers dropping off baggage with the ones boarding the aircraft. 

 

Voice biometrics

The client is Agnitio, a voice biometrics technology provider based in Madrid, Spain. Voice biometrics can be used for authenticating people through telephone, PC microphone, or recordings. This technology can be used for self-service password reset, client verification, or fraudster detection.

The biometrics technology is language independent and not succeptible when people change their voice or have a cold. All kinds of anti-spoof measures (against recording replay, voice synthesis and others) are available.

Vidamore supports the client in developing a client and partner base in The Netherlands. 

Revenue Management Solution

The client is a e-business company that have developed a booking, ticketing and revenue management platform, for rail, airlines, hotels and accommodations. Vidamore supports business development, project management, product management to build the client base and partner network for these products. Product management consists of planning of releases, research competition, manage market requirements, etc. 

The Revenue Management solution has next-generation features, which allows for easy management of rates, automatic unconstrained demand calculation, insightful real time reports. It supports the rail industry, airlines, hotels, accommodation (bungalows) and event pricing like concerts. It is fully integrated with the multi-modal booking tool, but also works with Property Management Systems, Airline reservation engines, OTA (online travel agents). The revenue management solution supports multi/modal products making it suitable for tour operators as well.

 

 

Multi-modal booking tool

The client is a e-business company that have developed a booking, ticketing and revenue management platform, for rail, airlines, hotels and accommodations. Vidamore supports business development, project management, product management to build the client base and partner network for these products. Product management consists of planning of releases, research competition, manage market requirements, etc. 

The booking tool solution is unique in its multi-modal capabilities, which allows for combined reservations of airline and rail tickets, together with accommodation. Reservations can be payed upon the booking, or upon arrival, or a combination of both options. Fulfilment options (distribution of the vouchers) is possible through homeprint PDF, mobile MMS vouchers and barcodes, charging chipcards with e-vouchers or otherwise.
